ARGH.
I am so totally fed up with every aspect of the renovation of my house.
This fucking floor thing was supposed to take "a day and a half" and then "maybe another day or two to dry and cure and stuff."
Well, apparently not. The guys who are actually doing the work (as opposed to the guys who contracted for it, and apparently had no idea what was actually involved) told me they have to come back again on Monday, and their English and my Spanish together weren't good enough for me to understand whether it's Monday-and-then-they're-finished, or Monday-and-then-some-other-days-also, or what.
But at the very least, the entire goddamned weekend is completely lost. They won't be doing any work, and I can't do anything in the house because half of it is wet concrete and the other half is full of furniture.
And each day they're working, I'm missing at least one hour of paid employment, because I have to be here to let them in and to lock up afterwards.
I am so, so sick of this.
