That's really bad. And sadly, not that surprising to me. I've only wound up in court once (mushrooms were growing in the carpet because they refused to fix a leak and a mold problem ensued), but I think most of the prop mgmt companies I've rented from over the years have been scum.

I have had a couple of ethical landlords from whom I rented directly - just no luck dealing with the middle men. It's like, what is this? A side business for drug czars?
