Done

I just turned in my last ever undergraduate essay.

I won't have any essays due, or assigned readings, for at least a year. All of the writing I do in this time will be entirely self-motivated. All of the reading will be books I choose, at a pace I set.

I think I should be feeling something right now... A sense of completion, perhaps, at the least. But I'm really too tired to even be particularly coherent, much less profound.

I'm going to take a nap. If anyone wants to leave me congratulatory messages and/or fun stories or comments or whatever, I would be very pleased to wake up to that.

Woo! And may it be a productive year of writing for yourself.

I sure hope it will be. I'm really excited about it!

Congratulations! You're now a proper adult!

Hehe... Can I be an improper one, still, too?

Enjoy the "time off", though I'm sure it'll be anything but unproductive and lazy which is how I hope to someday enjoy my time off.

I look forward to reading your future work so don't forget to let me in on it!

It wouldn't be the same without you reading.

See what happens when you stop distracting me?

*snerk* If I'd just let you concentrate earlier in the evening, I would have finished my essay much sooner!

Congratulations! And may it be a year of much writing and interesting books.

I haven't graduated yet, but when I had to leave school a few years ago, I remember that there was so much going on that what it meant to be leaving didn't really register for weeks. My unsolicited prediction? That sense of change that you don't have right now will show up in a major way around the second week of January when you don't go back to school for second semester. It's a weird feeling.

*nod* I suspect you're right about January. People keep asking me how it feels to be graduating, and I keep saying that they should ask back in a month or so... ;-)

Hey, slacker! :) You rock! You rock! You rock! Do you know that you're seriously one of my role models? Love you and congrats! E> Rin-yeh

Oh man, I hope I'm not too much of a role model, as procrastinatory as I am...

*hugs you!*
