Full Time
Today is my first day at the office as a full time employee. One of my big worries about this shift has been that I'm going to be bored out of my mind. I don't really believe that one could file for an entire day, even if there was enough filing to be done that such a level of activity could be sustained. I'll be getting some new responsibilities, is what I hear, but that sort of thing takes forever around here, and I'll have to avoid going insane in the meantime.
So far, boredom hasn't been an issue, though. I spent the morning alternating between filing and setting up my new computer (ohgodthemonitorissosexy), with the added thrill of spending a little time under my desk unscrewing the much-hated keyboard tray. Which Robert said I should just throw away. Damn, but that felt good.
In future, however, I will not wear a nice skirt and boots to the office if I expect to be spending time under my desk. It's a bit awkward to make sure that everything stays decent and family-friendly when one is so dressed.
So what's the day been like for everyone else?

I pretty much just felt my way along by changing little things, saving, and then seeing how it looked... That's probably the best thing to do. But let me know if you've got any more questions.
