Sunday Sock Blogging 3

The socks I'm wearing today are actually repeats, so I'm gonna show you yesterday's socks, instead. I didn't take them off until just after midnight last night, so they sort've count anyway, right? These socks are related to the reformed fairy socks that kphoebe modeled last week, incidentally.



Unrelatedly, I just posted the first chapter of the second Valmai Hammerhand book over at judyths. If any of you who aren't already members over there are interested in reading the continuing adventures of our favorite hammer-wielding heroine, go forth and join the community straight away. I shall approve you directly.

And if you, for some reason, want to see pictures of Jimmy and me taken right after we walked home in the rain yesterday, you can click the cut for them.

I was sort've trying to get a good shot of my new earrings. One picture was more flattering, but the other showed the earrings better, so I'm posting them both. Yay!





And here is a picture of poor Jameson with water actually dripping off his nose. I had my hooded cloak on, but he had to walk in the rain bare-headed. Aww.

There are actually three nekkid dolls visible in that shot (most of the back of one, a foot of another, and the top of the head of a third). Interestingly, two of them are -boy barbies-. I think I have almost as many Kens as Barbies, which is very weird.

Do you have a Valmai barbie yet? I need a picture of a barbie butt for....something. Preferably Valmai-ish, but any barbie butt will do, I suppose, as long as it is female. Partially exposed butt could also be good, as long as I get some crack in the top half. *giggle* Don't guess what I'm doing. You're too smart.

I haven't really picked out a Valmai Barbie yet... It's hard, because they're all so spindly, and she needs to be a little bit more solidly built. I -do- have a Ken that I'm turning into an Emlyn, though. I could take a picture of his butt, I suppose.

Cool! Emlyn will work. Not that it's going to matter, actually, since you probably wont be able to identify him by his Ken-ass, but if his clothing is representative at all, get that in there. :-) lol

Actually, if I finish painting him first, you might be able to recognize him, because his tattoo starts on his upper thigh.

The clothes are gonna take forever, so if you want the picture soon, it'll probably be better to just have him nekkid.

Couldn't you put the arms and legs of a ken doll on the body of a barbie doll to make a muscly girl doll Valmai? Or would that look awful?

The joints are usually different sizes, so Ken arms wouldn't even really fit in Barbie sockets, if that makes any sense. I'm still experimenting with different ideas to see what I can come up with, though. I'll think of something!

And I will definitely be taking pictures of Emlyn when he's finished, as I do of all of my dolls.
