Anyone in Tucson Want a Dog?

I'm still hoping to hear from the owner of the dog I found the other night, but I can't keep her in the yard any longer - she needs to be taken in somewhere and treated for fleas and ticks, for one thing, and she's clearly very lonely out there by herself.

Anyway, if I don't hear from anyone by four this afternoon, I'm going to have to take her to the Humane Society and hope that they can either find the owner or place her with a new family. Does anyone reading this have an interest in a young dog of indeterminate breed and very friendly temperament?

The list is nano-t at yahoogroups. I THINK anyone can get onto it if you want to; if there's trouble, the mod is syrinxkat. (most of the time it seems like the group does critique and stuff for whatever everyone's choosing to write, so the challenge stuff is optional ^^)

Shot in the dark, but I plugged the dog on my LJ... 'cause, you know, I'm just that into dogs and I think they all deserve families.
