Geek, Geek, Geek

I'm chilling out at Jimmy and Isaac's, with, of course, Jimmy and Isaac, and also mugglegirl0908. I just taught her to knit (a little. Actually, the teaching is really still in progress), so she's busy with that. Jimmy and Isaac are playing video games on laptops across from us. Isaac is actually IMing me right now, though I can reach out and kick his ankle from where I'm sitting. In front of me is a tray table with Dew, dice, and D&D source books, all of which are necessary in order to plan out tomorrow's game. On the DVD player is the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice.

ZOMG, we are like the biggest geeks EVAR.

I Have the Best Toys

If you're asking yourself right now, "Self, is that a tiny little Barbie-sized computer desk complete with a little plastic tower, monitor, keyboard, and mouse?" the answer is "Yes, yes it is."

I'm going to have to clean off a corner of my own desk, so that one of my altered Barbies can keep me company while I'm writing.

In case you're not convinced that I've gone totally over the edge with this One-of-a-Kind Barbie thing, I should probably mention that I did do some fangirlish squeeing last night when I found new Barbies at Kaybee Toys that have the awesome realistic feet of the Cali Girl line, but not the tans. (They're called Beach Fun Barbies. And I bought two.)

I've gotta finish some of these guys up and start sending them to people/selling them/finding permanent display places for them. The top of the bookshelf in my bedroom and the little space next to the bathroom sink are getting crowded.
