Emergency Backup Crab

I finally got around to purchasing a friend for Zoidberg. It is a crab of about the same size, but with pale lavender bands on its big claw - very pretty, and more than a little weird-looking. I've never seen one that was so purple before (Zoidberg is the much more usual dark reddish-brownish color).

Any thoughts on what I should name this one? I'm leaning towards Dido for some reason - maybe because she's always wearing purple in Virgil's descriptive passages? Dunno.

I had it in mind that I'd get some writing done tonight, but instead I've done a lot of aimless forum-surfing and even more staring at a blank white page.

I did do some laundry, at least, despite a weird sort of slush storm that hit earlier (I have to go next door to do my laundry, so the state of the weather is actually meaningful), and while I was doing that, I saw that my mother had unearthed an old book of mine. The book is the Klutz Press Draw the Marvel Comics Super Heroes.

Hmmm. This could be fun.
