So, last year I resolved to do a bunch of stuff, some of which I did, and most of which I didn't.
Quick review! )
This year, I'm making the following resolutions - in 2007, I will:

1. Become confident in performing all of my second dan forms, push myself to greater levels of flexibility and strength, and begin the pre-testing process for my third dan.

2. Complete a first draft of a new short story or essay suitable for a paying market every month. Relatedly, I will complete revisions of a previously-first-drafted writing project each month, and begin mailing out submissions regularly.

3. In January, I will experiment with achieveable weekly word-count goals, and then set an attainable-but-challenging goal to meet every week thereafter, in order to push myself to write more consistently.

4. Host more movie nights and crafting circle gatherings, and plan at least one small D&D campaign adventure - I miss hanging out with my friends, and I need to take a more active role in arranging get-togethers.

In 2007, I'll also be getting married, buying a house, and continuing to work on my co-written novels with [livejournal.com profile] kphoebe - but I don't think I need to make resolutions about that stuff, because I'm not the least bit wobbly on whether I'll complete any of those!

There are other things I want to do in the coming year, and I may be making a much longer list of resolutions later on. For tonight, though, I'm going to finish this chapter of Son of Lettery that I'm working on, have a nice dinner with Jameson (at Outback, if any of you local persons want to join us - just lemme know!), and then drink a lot of Midori Sours and blow shit up in Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy on Jimmy's new XBOX 360.

Happy New Year!
