Mammals Shouldn't Have Scales
Jan. 8th, 2007 06:44 pmI'm not very good at using lotion and exfoliating and all that sort of stuff. It's up there with makeup application methods in the list of "Girl Things I Somehow Never Learned To Do." I do manage to hit my shins with cetaphil on a regular basis, which I kinda have to do unless I want them to split open and bleed, but the rest of me just kinda gets along as best it can.
But, you know, I've been looking at a lot of photos of luminous young women lately (bridal magazines, I hate you. Hate.), and while I know that most of that is makeup and photoshop, some of it probably is due to healthy skin. Skin that is smooth to the touch. Man, it would be cool to have skin like that.
So... Those of you who actually do use exfoliants and scrubs and lotions and all that - what works for you? Any suggestions on products or methods I could try?
