At Least it Wasn't Yesterday

I woke up this morning with a really sore throat and runny nose. Ugh. I had the runny nose yesterday, but I thought it was just allergies brought on by my beloved mother's potpourri and my beloved brother's aftershave. Apparently not.

Anyway, Christmas was very nice. It was fun to spend so much time with the family, and we had a really nice dinner and a good time playing with the new video games that we had given Mom and Dad (I dunno about Erik, but I sure think it's hilarious that they have a video game console now). I was given several very lovely presents, ranging from thoughtful and sort of frivolous stuff like new games and an LED UV flashlight (omg, so cool!) and a Blue Sun t-shirt to thoughtful and extremely useful stuff like a shiny new mailbox to replace the one we have, which leaks. Also, a plunger.

So even with a cold the day after, it's been a good holiday for me. I hope everyone else who celebrates Christmas had as nice a time.
