I've obtained many useful skills this week. For example, I now know how to use the automatic buttonhole foot on my sewing machine. I have also learned how to voluntarily flex my tonsils, for purposes of stone expulsion. I know, I know. I'm a talented woman.
You don't get photos of the results of the latter skill, but I present to you now my first completed clothing project via sewing machine. BEHOLD, MY MIGHTY SHARK-CLAD THEWS:
The waist is kinda wrong, even after two attempts, but they fit and stay up and everything, so I'm calling this one a win.
And they coordinate wonderfully with the pink-flamingos-on-green tank top I happen to be wearing.
