In psuedo-celebration of the whole 83,000 words thing, and also because I am bored, a meme:
Ask any of the characters from any of my stories a question, and they will answer. Possibly even honestly.
It was fun last time. Ask away! (and yes, you can ask more than one. I'm filing. I have plenty of time on my hands in which to mentally compose good answers)

Date: 2005-08-13 12:04 am (UTC)The guy who had grabbed me talked with some other people about what to do with me. He said he was going to take me to the Humane Society, or maybe the Hermitage. One of the people (later I found out it was Robyn) said that if he did that, they would kill me, because I was sick. That was true - I couldn't see out of one of my eyes, because something was wrong with it. The guy said that he couldn't have another cat. Robyn said that she couldn't, either, but she took me anyway.
I spent the night all alone in her bathroom. There was another cat (Xerxes) outside the door who kept calling out to me, but I ignored him. It was very scary. I didn't know what would happen to me.
It all worked out alright in the end, but that day was pretty awful.

Valmai is so different from my other daughters. I never really expected the same things of her. I've often wished that she would make different choices - honestly, taking up with Gavin? Couldn't she see that it was all a competition, for him? - but she has never dissapointed me. I don't think she ever will. She's a good girl.
