Things I Would Love to Be Doing Right Now

revena1. Writing Valmai Hammerhand stories. Oh, would I -ever- love to be doing this. I feel the cliffhangerish nature of the last several as badly as you guys do, I swear it... Plus, things are just now starting to get interesting.
2. Working on my thesis. I want to email Prof. Ulreich tonight and -not suck- totally. I have some thoughts on what I wanna say, but I really need to just sit down and write for a while... I can do this. I know I can.
3. Cleaning my house. My house. is. a. pit. Like, really awful. Cat hair, dishes, it's all bad. I need to attack it with my new vacuum (such an awesome Christmas present!) and a scrub-brush. Vigorously. And I -want- to.
4. Reading. Anything, really. Novels, fanfic, poetry... Just... Reading.
5. Listening to my Shrek 2 soundtrack. That thing rocks. I love "Holding Out for a Hero," in both incarnations, and could listen to just that alone on endless replay. That there is -other good music- on the soundtrack is just icing.
6. Snuggling with Jameson. Even though he's got the flu. He's so cute when he's asleep, I'd risk infection just to cuddle with him. Love makes you stupid, evidently.
7. Knitting. I want to finish that Slytherin scarf. I think about knitting all the time, when I'm stuck somewhere with a few minutes on my hands and no yarn. Gah. I NEED TO CRAFT!

graynonymous would totally dig on. I want to put it together sooo bad right now.
8. Hanging out with my friends. Today would be a really good day to watch a Christopher Lambert movie and drink too much Mountain Dew, or something. I dunno. Or have company while I do all the cleaning I want to do...
Interestingly, "Do filing" is nowhere on that list. Guess what I'm -actually doing- right now?
