That actually happened at my school when I was a senior. Some 7th graders made ex-lax cookies and put them in the teacher's lounge. Several teachers got sick.
I'm kind of relieved it was just laxatives. At least with laxatives you can see how it was intended as a 'jovial prank' rather than an 'intentional crime'. But still, it erodes what should be a trusting environment.
I like the line "If you assist children with perpetrating these kinds of crimes, you will be charged". Who, outside of RoboCop, uses the word 'perpetrating' like that? I can see how whoever said that gained the position of figurehead...
