Insecurities

I'm starting to feel a bit anxious about "Heirs." I think a fair chunk of the people who read my original fic don't comment or let me know in any way that they're a) reading and b) what they thought of the last story, but a few of you tend to with fair regularity. And... This time, I haven't heard from anyone. I could handle another bout of "OMG I can't believe you did that!" like I got with "Justice", I think, but the silence is freaking me out. So have you guys just not gotten round to reading it yet? Or was it reallly awful this time? Or what?

Return of the Meme

I want to write tonight, and Valmai #32 isn't quite coming together for me just yet... I think I'm just too distracted and muddle-headed from the last day of classes/official start of Studying For Finals to concentrate on anything long and at all complex. This, unfortunately, makes it damn hard for me to work on any of my ongoing writing projects.

So I'm gonna sort of reprise a meme I did a little while back, and just open it up to y'all tonight... Request a drabble. Can be Valmaiverse, Potterverse, my cats being jerks, whatever. Give me a pairing, a situation, a prompt, an idea... I'll do my best to write whatever-it-is, even if it's bizarre or goes against my usual inclinations. A challenge would be good, tonight.
