Well, after all of my stress the past couple weeks, today was very nice indeed. I got to sleep in a bit, and then Mom and I took a long walk together, and talked about wedding plans, and work frustrations, and so on. It was kinda stressful, just because I was hashing out all this stuff that's been bothering me, and some of it got me angry to recount it, but then I felt better afterward, so that was all right.
And then Jimmy and I went in to the office to work for a few hours while no one was there (except that Martelle was in the main building, so I got to chat with her for a bit, which was nice, and Robert and Leigh were in the annex for some of the time - but no one else was in the little house, where I work, so I could blast my music as loud as I wanted), and then we called
zinaya_y2kewel and
y2kewel and asked if they wanted to bring their new baby out to dinner with us.
They said yes, but not for an hour, and so Jimmy and I went to CompUSA first and - Dude! Jimmy bought me my birthday present early, and it is so cool! I now have all of the King's Quest games, formatted to run with the newer versions of Windows. Eeee! He also got me a laptop cooling pad, so I can play for hours and hours even over here at Mom and Dad's, and not burn my legs. Yayes!
And then dinner was very awesome, on top of that. And I got to hold the baby, who was squashily awesome.
I'd write some more, or something, but I think I have to go play King's Quest I for a while...
