The ragged notch in the side of my toenail that's been growing out since I had that surgery last year got caught on my slipper as I slid my foot into it this evening, and I accidentally tore away the corner of the nail.

...Anyone have a good technique for getting bloodstains out of bedroom slippers?

I'm going to be extra-careful with the notch in the other big toenail, that's for sure. Those stupid things had almost grown all the way out, too! Argh.

Dude, better be careful - one day you will wake up, and they will have made off into the night, leaving the CD player on infinite loop with "These Boots Were Made for Walkin'".

OxyClean is like a tiny powdered miracle of the gods. I've used it on carpet stained with dirt and old chinese food grease, and it looked like new. Do be careful though, to make sure it doesn't bleach whatever you're using it on. I've actually never had a problem with it (I used it on a dark navy carpet, too), but the little jar does warn you, so.

I have it on good authority that oxyclean works wonders on blood-soaked DCUs, so I can only assume it would work on slippers.
