The August issue of Cerise is live, so go forth and check out Fight Like a Girl! We had some really great submissions for this issue, including a start to a new series of academic-flavored articles. Huzzah!

September's theme is "The Socially Conscious Gamer," and for October we're planning a special crossover teamup thing with Girl-Wonder. Get thee to the submissions page for details.

In sillier reading, Belle and Claire are back at Reading by Moonslight after a brief hiatus, posting reader fanart and reviewing "Crystal Starbeam and the Heart Sword of Jamerica."

Ohmigosh, I actually wrote a 3 panel comic to submit to Cerise! Mind, I've never written a comic before. It may be blah.

I shall illustrate it this week and send it to you next for consideration. What's the deadline for Sept?

The deadlines are officially on the 20th of the previous month (as in, September's deadline would be August 20th), but we often take work for an issue right up until the 4th of the publication month. So send it in when it's ready, and we'll sort it out from there.

Ok. Hmm... I'm on holiday and will be away from my computer until this weekend, so the soonest I'll get it to you is Monday next week. If it makes it, it makes it. If not, then it can go in Sept.

That is, if you *like* it and ind it appropriate. :) Will not be offended if you don't. It came pure out of recent frustration I had in game so I hope it's relevant!

Sent! Wow! Doing a comic is *so hard*. I had no idea. Consider me 100 times more appreciative of all the comics out there. I've sure learned a hell of a lot.

I'm gonna keep running with this strip, so if you like it and want future episodes, gimme a yell.
