Mission: Racking Up Your Comment Totals

gimini_chick_in, anariel_di_gaia, and anyone else who feels like playing, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write one (or more) of the following stories cooperatively (sort of) in comments to this post. Comment with the opening lines of a story once you've got them, then wait for someone to add something to the story in response to your comment, and continue on in that fashion.

Some starter suggestions:
1) What did Emlyn's familiar do back before she became a familiar?
2) What did Arix Dasha (mentioned in the opening paragraph of "Until Honor is Satisfied" duel over?
3) The fantastic adventures of Ariel and Jessenia!
4) Or, y'know, something else entirely.

Eeee! Fun mission! I want to play, but I have to leave work and go home (an hour drive)...my doggy is really sick, I just found out, and my family really needs me to bring home food. If we are still game later, I'll be back!
