revenaI started playing with the Sims 2 University expansion pack thingie last night. I thought it'd be funny to make alternate-universe college student versions of the characters in the Valmai Hammerhand stories. Emlyn in a hoodie is inherently funny, to me.
Anyway, that game is really kind of frighteningly addictive. It's a good thing it takes so long to load, or I'd probably try to get "just a few more minutes" in before work, today. I think I played for three hours last night.
I made:
Valmai Hammerhand - Athletic History Major who really wants to be in the military (this will seem extremely hilarious after a few more chapters... just wait)
Emlyn Tamesis - Green hoodie-wearing Economics Major
Ametrine Bedros - Food-burning Political Science type (and with brown hair, because I couldn't manage either white or purple. I should figure that out)
Wynn Swiftknuckle - Philosophy Major who wants to be the greatest chef evar
I'll probably add in some other AU-version characters, like Kaadin and Sondra, when I get the hang of working with the four I've already got. In the meantime, they're already pretty hilarious.
For some reason, they refuse to sleep in their own rooms. Emlyn constantly sleeps in Valmai's room, and she prefers to sleep in his. Ametrine and Wynn will sleep in an empty, unclaimed room, rather than one of their own. They also refuse to wear clothes when running around the house between classes, for the most part. They do everything in their underwear, including writing term papers.
As far as interaction goes, Wynn is by far the most popular, making friends with all sorts of NPCs. Valmai is the most serious loner. The only person she really likes hanging out with is... Emlyn. The two of them play kicky-bag and flirt until five in the morning on a regular basis, but on the one occasion that Emlyn tried to initiate a little hand-holding, Valmai smacked him down.
Anyway, I've been taking some pictures, and I'll keep up with that as the game progresses. I plan on doing some humorous illustrated story posts, in the style of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
zinaya_y2kewel's "As The Time-Turner Spins" posts (which can be found here: 1, 2, 3).

Next thing you know, I'll be writing Valmaiverse fanfic with bad, bad sex....except I wouldn't because I'm a medic and anatomically and physiologically impossible situations physically hurt me, but I'd try.
It's probably end up being written like "and he slammed his pulsating member into her uterus (NB except he didn't because there's this thing called the cervix, which although it stetches, without the correct hormones present wouldn't stretch very far, even if by some miracle the gentleman's penis was long enough to do this....did you know that the posterior and anterior walls of the uterus are usually touching, so not much is getting in there...*ahem*..anyway), she moaned loudly (more like screamed...*goes on about tearing muscle fibre and innervation).
So, it wouldn't be very successful, lol.

I want to find these people and send them a copy of the Oxford textbook of function anatomy and the Oxford textbook of clinical anatomy (the best textbooks in the world!), with a note telling them to stop commiting crimes against science.
